Draenog Y Môr | Sea Bass Tea Towel

£12.00

In 2013 Jane moved to the island of Anglesey off the North West Coast of Wales. Her studio looks out across the Menai Strait to the mountains of Eryri. From here she creates her prints. She sources many of her marine specimens from local fishermen and gathers shells and botanical specimens on her walks locally.

Description
To create this design, I've used one of my Gyotaku prints and worked on it digitally along with some water colour to come up with the design. The Tea Towel also has my Hanko on it, this is a Japanese stamp of my name. It also has the Welsh for Sea Bass - Draenog Y Môr; which literally translates as 'Hedgehog of the Sea'

The tea towel is stitched on all four sides, it's made of 100% Panama Cotton and is Natural not bleached. The design is digitally printed onto the Tea Towel.

The tea towel is part of a range I've designed which includes this towel, the sea bass tail towel, apron and oven gloves.
