The Dylan’s Bakery is Open for Business! | Mae Becws Dylan's Ar Agor i Fusnes!
Our restaurants may be closed for the time being, but our bakery certainly is open for business. Our Head Baker, Ant, and his team are baking our delicious artisan breads six days a week. Supplying local retail customers, home delivery services and setting up a ‘depot de pain’ at our Menai Bridge restaurant, these unprecedented times call for innovation and collaboration, and we're excited to be sharing our fantastic breads outside the restaurants, and meeting customer demand in a new way.
From supplying hundreds of loaves to our restaurants every day we have adapted to supplying our bread to local food stores across North Wales. It’s a different challenge, at a different time of the day, and with different packaging, all the while keeping our team safe as they produce a huge range of fine loaves, buns and rolls at our bakery in Llangefni. We're thrilled that this transition is working, and helping us to keep our team members employed and busy using their unique skills while our restaurants are closed.
Who hasn’t switched to home delivery or click and collect? Working together with M Hughes and Sons we are reaching a wider audience and offering our artisan breads to their home delivery customers, as well as our own. Their home delivery selection also include another of our suppliers, and fellow member of the vibrant North Wales food and drink community, Edwards of Conwy. A cullinary collaboration made in heaven, think the finest steak burger, a light and fluffy burger bun and a bowl of crisp salad leaves and there you have it - a marriage of North Wales produce for your enjoyment.
In these challenging times we are focusing our team on new revenue streams, business innovation and responding to changing customer demand.
