It's fantastic to see so many businesses joining together over this important cause! | Mae'n ffantastig i weld gymaint o fysnesu yn gwiethio gyda a'i gilydd dros achos pwysig hwn.

We were overjoyed to see Anglesey achieve 'Plastic Free' status, the first county in the UK to do so.

Dozens of other businesses on Anglesey have ditched their plastics, particularly single use items, for sustainable, renewable and biodegradable alternatives.

We were happy to rid our restaurants of plastic straws and stirrers almost two years ago, and continue work to reduce our plastic use, as well as recycling and repurposing much of our ‘rubbish’ as decorations and art installations, both in our restaurants, and local institutions!

Plastic Free Anglesey / Di Blastic Ynys Mon:

Big shoutout to Plastic Free Champion Dylan's in Menai Bridge. They have helped with the following:

    • Changed to bio degradable Straws
    • Part of the Refill Anglesey / Refill Ynys Mon station
    • Provide sauces in glass bottles
    • Provide recyclable food boxes
    • Provide Wooden stirrers

They are also involved and have run marine environment educational projects with local schools alongside Anglesey Sea Zoo.

They will continue to do monthly beach cleans.

Da Iawn. Keep up the great work helping towards #PlasticFreeCommunities
