
10 Year Anniversary Celebration at Dylan’s Criccieth! | Dathliad 10 Mlynedd yn Dylan’s Cricieth!
It seems like only yesterday that we opened Dylan’s Criccieth, but actually - it's been 10 YEARS this May – a whole decade of Celebrating the Local Produce, Character & Natural Beauty of North Wales as custodians of the wonderful Morannedd building.
In recognition of this landmark anniversary, we're rolling back our prices to match those on our opening Spring menu in 2015, providing our guests with a treat from us, as a big ‘thank-you’ for all your kindness, loyalty & support.
In rolling back the clock & the prices of our dishes by 10 years, we’re also hoping to shine a light on the massive challenges that hospitality businesses like ours are facing in these turbulent economic times.
Prices have spiraled so significantly over the past decade that - for many people - dining out is now limited to very, very special occasions.
To protect not just our own business, but also our local suppliers, our prices have had to gradually increase too. They have their own costs, challenges & margins to protect. Supporting local producers remains our primary mission.
We’ve not changed a thing since we first opened. Not the produce & quality of ingredients, not the portions sizes, nor our operating margin. All of this increase is purely the rising costs of produce, power, & payroll.
For one weekend only (Friday May 16th to Monday May 19th) we want everyone to have the opportunity of enjoying a special meal at Dylan’s Criccieth & we’re incredibly grateful to our suppliers for joining us in this effort.
We will continue to share more about the ongoing challenges to producers & hospitality businesses in the coming weeks & months. For now though, we invite you to book a table nice & early, join us, & let's celebrate together.
